Welcome to the “How People Learn” Engineering Workshop!

If you are a registered participant for one of our workshops during the 2006-2007 academic year, your first step is to click here and download and print off the first ten pages of your workshop manual.

These first few pages of “How People Learn” Engineering will prepare you to get the most from your workshop participation. 

Please read the text and complete the three exercises that guide you through TASK ONE and TASK TWO of the five-task “backwards design” model we will use in the workshop. 

Bring these pages with you.  At the workshop, you will begin working with what you bring with you from these three exercises to complete the objective of gaining knowledge and skills in lesson design.
