Taxonomy Browser for Cardiovascular Physiology This tool, developed under the direction of Dee Silverthorn at UT Austin, illustrates how related concepts in a taxonomy might be organized and navigated
using a web browser interface. Currently the tool contains terms from cardiovascular physiology, and ongoing efforts seek to extend this or similar tools
to cover other areas of the VaNTH taxonomies.

the ABET 2000 (3a-3k) criteria as well as job profiles for five prospective bioengineering
professions: 1) MD, 2) BME Product Engineer, 3) BME Process Engineer, 4) Engineering Scientist and 5) Consultant.
CDIO Syllabus
The CDIO syllabus is the basis for the CDIO initiative started at MIT.
This syllabus has assisted VaNTH researchers in the development of the Communications
and Teamwork taxonomies listed above.
