Artificial Vessels Module
Objectives
- Understand the anatomy and physiology of blood vessels with special attention to its elastic properties and ability to diffuse molecules
- Apply diffusion
- Calculate stress and strain
- Understand elastic and inelastic deformation
- Create stress vs. strain plots, add lines of best fit, and interpret the slopes of these lines
- Design and implement a testable hypothesis and procedure for a particular problem
- Create a scientific poster
- Introduce muscle groups and equivalent forces.
